Friday, October 22, is our twice a year 3-day trip to K-57, located 57 kilometers south of Mexicali. Working with the
Lions from K-57 we arrive on Friday evening and setup at the local school, and see patients on Saturday and Sunday.
Our trip starts at Dr. Brian Van Dusen's office at 7:30 a.m. where we pack and load his optical equipment.
We leave Yucaipa at 8:00 a.m. and reach the Hemet Recycling center about 8:30 a.m.. This is where most of our volunteers
meet us and park their cars for the weekend.
We leave Hemet at 9:00 a.m. and make one last stop at 9:30 a.m. in Temecula, at the Carls Jr. in Temecula. This
is where we pick-up the last of our volunteers and make our way to Mexico.
